Telling it Bent - Queer and Trans* Youth Writing Workshop

the frank is excited to present the inaugural Telling it Bent drop-in youth writing workshop. This free workshop is for queer, transgender, Two Spirit and questioning youth aged 14-25. It is a place to meet other queer and trans artists; to express and imagine; to learn about and nurture writing, editing, performance, and publications skills; and together create a safe and encouraging space. Workshops will take place every Tuesday evening starting July 8th until August 26th and will be lead by acclaimed local writers d lee williams and Amal Rana. The workshops will culminate in a shared reading on August 21st at the Heartwood Community Cafe.
